Demo packages

We offer MegaZine3 configurations as demo packages for free download. The packages are pre-configured for specific use cases and create working MZ3 titels (MegaZine3 pageflip books) fast and easily. Each demo package is complete and comes with the Megazine3 software, the MZ3 tool, sample data and a specific tutorial.

If you are an experienced user and look for the latest version of MegaZine3 or any specific files, please use our Expert Download page. There you'll find Flash source files (.fla and .swc files), the newest development version and the old version 1.x, licensed under GPL.

Beta Version MZ3-Tool3

The new  beta version v2.1.2.5 (Feb 20, 2012) of MZ3-Tool3, a new tool supporting PDF to MZ3 conversion in a more comfortable way than the actual Demo package, is available for test. It comes with German and English documentation. The standard configuration setting converts every PDF file found in the same folder the MZ3-Tool3 program is located in. Page size and number of pages are extracted from the PDF file, and the search index is created also. Now with Google Analytics and Javascript Fallback support. The JS Fallback is a HTML5 and JQuery based option to present MegaZine3 content in Browsers without FLASH support; like on an iPad.

New in 2.1.2.5 is the support of an Offline-Version (CD version). This now also is the default to avoid problems with global security settings. To create an Online version just set the paramter <mz3_variant> to online.
The update of the English  manula is not yet done; that is still the same as with v2.1.2.3. A new version will be availabel soon.

Download the file, unzip it into a new folder, copy your PDF file(s) and start the program... It's that easy ;-) 

MonkeyBook (Mediascreen) special Package

For those using MonkeyBook from Mediascreen please find a special, preconfigured version of MegaZine3 on the MonkeyBook page. We will update the version whenever Mediascreen provides a new release.

Complete and working MegaZine3 Title

Those who cannot use the MZ3 Tool (e.g. MAC users), can download the complete examples with working MZ3 titles and use them to analyze and as base for own modifications.
