[edit] Video Playback Controls: Skins
For the vid element. As I'm not sure whether it is possible to obtain the different skins for the video playback controls other than with CS3: here is a ZIP file with all the AS3.0 GUIs. Color and transparency may be adjusted via use of the vid@guicolor attribute.
[edit] PDF Conversion Scripts
These batch scripts for Windows (sorry, no Mac or Linux version available yet, if someone would make one, that'd be neat) make use of the swftools's pdf2swf component to generate pages in SWF format from a PDF file and also a MegaZine3 XML file (.mz3). Read the on screen instructions when running the script for more info.
The first download is a set of 3 scripts working together (pdf2mz3 tool) and supports a fully automated conversion of PDF files into MegaZine3 flip books including folder and file management:

If you are interested in the source code, there is a Subversion repository from where you can download it. If you check out the trunk you'll get the latest development snapshot which might contain a few bugs (but it will normally at least compile). Normally it is recommended checking out the latest release tag, though.
If you're using Windows, have a look at the TortoiseSVN client to access and check out the repository.

Nightly builds are automatically compiled from the current source code in SVN. They may be broken or contain unfinished features. Use them at your own risk. They can be downloaded here: Nightly Builds Index
