CS5 - Projector - FullScreen - Input Text
« on: May 28, 2010, 03:36:28 pm »
We are moving to CS5 and we have a big problem with the user interaction in full screen when we build projector with flash.
Actually in full screen mode there is no way to accept user text interaction...i think it is changed the security model for projector (it was the same in CS4 but only for web container).

is it any solution?
do you have the same behaviour?

Really thanks.

What you can also try to generate the projector, is to open the megazine.swf that comes with the releases
with the standalone Flash Player (maybe not the one that ships with CS5 but from the Flex 3 SDK?) and use
"File->Create Projector..."
For the Snark was a Boojum, you see.

Before you ask a question
          After you get an answer
  • please document your problem with the answer in the Project Wiki. (e.g. in the FAQs)
  • help others out if you can, by answering their questions on the forum.

I have tried this approch with Flex 4 and we have the same problem...no input text in full screenmode.
We are moving to Flex 3 to test again.

input textfield will not working in fullscreen mode even you compile with flex 3 sdk or flex 4 sdk. it was an security feature from adobe, though. read this http://forums.adobe.com/message/3153227  ;D

This will be the latest FLASH Player version 11.3
Since that version full screen support is available. The user has to accept it, though.
You have to build the megazine.exe/.app  (or the megazine.-fat.exe/.app) with Flash Pro (the description shows the standard path for CS5; must be adjusted to the version you are using if you already use CS5.5 or CS6).

The package that comes with the mz3_tool3 download already contains projector files built with 11.3 (although it is still the beta 2 version).
After we completed our tests. we will package the final Flash 11.3 projector files with the next release v2.1.2 of MegaZine3.

If you already have some experience in using fullscreen support with MegaZine3, we would be interested in getting you feedback

Thank you!
