I went back to nighty468...
« on: July 08, 2010, 05:55:45 am »
after trying 472.

It is just to mention that I much prefer that version of the zoom plugin (in 468) to the latest one.

IMHO, the miniature pages showing when the pages get too big should be made optional. A thing I noticed is that this miniature window of the pages appears too early, ie when the pages are still smaller that the screen instead of when they are bigger than the screen.

And about the search window showing the odd numbers of pages... not sure...

Sorry, was just giving some feedback.

Gilles

As I wrote in the other thread, they basically are optional: just remove the scrollpanecontrol from the zoom.asul file ;)

They might be smaller on screen, yes, but not than the containing scrollbar (which per default - see megazine.asul - has a certain margin to the borders). Anyway, I don't see this as a real issue.

By "search window", do you mean the "goto page" text field? Well, if you don't like it, you can always disable it via book@navbarpagenumbersinbox (i.e. <book navbarpagenumbersinbox="false">).

Thanks for the feedback! :)
For the Snark was a Boojum, you see.

Thanks for the instructions about how to disable some of the things...

I am still learning and need more instructions sometimes... But I still enjoy trying the nighties, no matter what.

Yes, I meant the "goto" window.

I'll try that,
