Open gallery automatically

I noticed people  are not so often inclined  using the gallery.
So,  I wonder if it could be done to make the gallery open automatically when clicking the next page,  inviting this way visitors to explore it nevertheless.
If there is a way, I would like to make the gallery open automatically .

Are you really using v1.38 or did you post in the wrong section?
For v1.38 I'm afraid you have to help yourselves...

If it is a question for v2.x, we'll move it over and then think about it ;-)

Please confirm the version

Pretty much everything is possible, but there's no built-in parameter to control that ;)
Rather than reopening it each time (which I personally would find rather distracting), have you considered putting all your images into one big gallery (see @gallery attribute)? This way the users can just cycle through the images and when they close the gallery mode they'll be on the page the currently displayed image belonged to.
