A print button in the navigation bar could be useful.
A document is already split into separate pages.
Throwing some ideas here - options might be either whole document; left page; right page; both left and right; or pages number from to.

That would be great too.  Another suggestion is to create some javascript function to do that. Something like :

function printLeftPage();
function printRightPage();
function printBothPages();

Then flash can call the printing mode of "hires" images.
