Since mz3v132 my SWFs won't dislplay
« on: May 06, 2009, 11:18:22 am »
Some days ago i have updated from mz3v131 to mz3v135. Now my SWFs won't
display anymore. So i checked the all versions after 1.31 - none of them works.
So version 1.30 and 1.31 are working. I don't have any lower versions.
I've tried to save my SWFs in lower Flash versions as Flash6, FlashMX. No success
so far. The SWF is a "PageFlip v2.25"-Book from Macc.

Could you post a link or even better the files? That would help.
For the Snark was a Boojum, you see.

Yesterday, i wanted to post the files with some demo data.
Strangely enough the demo files are working with 1.35,
the real files don't.

I'll try harder ;D and than post my results. Could also be somthing
with the total size or the combination of backgroundimage and swf
file. I'll investigate furher.

EDIT:
I've got it:
As described i used the same megazine.xml in 1.31 and 1.35.
Now i've experimented with some values and without the
"width="300" and height="400" values it works!!!  :P
Don't ask why  ??? ??? ???

Hmm. It can happen that swfs declare (visually) incorrect values for their width and height, which could have caused problems when the engine tried to scale them to the set size. I'll write a note regarding such problems in the documentation sometime.
