Couldn't Start __config_en2.1.05.bat
(1/1)
f117f117:
I'm trying to run __config_en2.1.05.bat on are new win7 installed computer.
This is what I've done so far
- installed adobe reader, air 3, adobe flash player
- installed SWFTools to C:\Program Files\SWFTools
- extract mz3_mag_1_en_cd.zip
- run __config_mag_1_en_cd_b.bat
the batch file couldn't start, and the error message is like this:
"The syntax of the command is incorrect."
Any thing I've missed out? please tell me what to deal with this issue.
Thanks in advance

There will be a new tool soon. Hopefully easier to use and more automatic.
You can have a first look at the pre-beta (now with English manual also!). And it is pretty easy to use:
Create a new folder somewhere, unzip the one file there and run it.
Then a cople of folders are built and alos a megazine.zip file is availabel in the ini/ folder.
And if you follow the naming syntax and have the language abbreviation as the last two letters following a leading "_", you also do not have to care about the lcoalization:
just provide PDF file names like book_version_en.pdf, book_version_de.pdf, book_version_it.pdf ... and you'll have a working MZ3 Title supporting all languages.
Also search (yes, the search index is created automatically also) and automitic scaling is supported.
So far only as batchpage version; singel and spreadpage support will follow; as well as Google Analytics support; and most probably a simple fallback for non-Flah users (the poor iPad guys e.g. ;-) also.
There will several updates during the beta phase, so revisit and download again from time to time... until you'll find it officially on our website ;-)

Thank you very much! I've tried to use MZ3-Tool3 beta, it's much more easy to use and config now. But I could only create web version from the exe. How can I use the tools to generate full screen offline version of my book? that's what need to work no now. wait for you reply. Thanks again.
Hans Nücke:
That's one of the next "features".
Until that's supported, you had to do it manually; i.e. download the megazine.exe or .app and copy everyting into the appropriate folders.
