Sorry, what exactly do you mean?
With <area> and "overlay" you can define an area of any size, giving it with overlay different effects depending on the mouse state (e.g. mouse over).

Please give some more details about your request

Hello Hans,

I have just been looking at the link and am not sure if the effect is possible with megazine? Would be a nice feature though instead of having to expand content into galleries.

If you take a look at pages 6 and 7 of the magazine you will see that when you click on an item it expands and the book behind dims slightly, the viewer then just clicks the expanded content again to close it. What is nice is that it expands from the place it is placed in the book.

Thanks

Andrew

This indeed is a nice feature.
Although it is possible to define an area with an overlay, the exact behavior cannot be realized yet.
You can grey out an area (with Overlay), you can define a link (with area), but you had to either implement this kind of lightbox on your server or open a new window.

We will add it to the wish list, but cannot make any commitments if and when this will be available. On case we realize it, it will most probably be done as a new plugin, controlled by a new xml file that defines the area and links.
