You can customize the interface at the "interface.fla" and then generating a new "interface.swf"

mmmm... check "Publish settings...", I think the SWF is published into a folder that could not exist in your case, try changing this.

another try: I've create a "bin" folder where put the interface.fla and publish there. Move the .swf in the exact "megazine" folder, test index.htm, but like before: disappear the navigation button...  ???

Are you using the standalone SWF for the Megazine or is it contained in your FLA project? If the second case... how are you creating the MegaZine object?

every test did from index.htm. For skinning attempt i've try to change too the object in the library and try to publish the swf. but it's not the right way, 'cause don't know where it need the path ../bin for function, and if publish WITHOUT the ../bin folder disappear all the navigation buttons. Maybe must modify some classes, but don't know ::) what i've to do...

I'm pretty sure that it is a path problem, you don't need to change anything more thant the graphic objects to generate a new interface.swf.

I'm a little bit lost with your testing environment, just double check that you place your new interface.swf at the same place where it was the original one (in my case at the same place that the megazine.swf file).

Tnx 4 your quick answer! There's a double trouble (uau, good title for a song!):
1° attempt) use the file with original publish settings (folder setting is on: "../bin/interface.swf"): can change the graphic but don't publish 'cause gimme an "error export" window;
2° attempt) CHANGED the "../bin folder" in publish settings. Change and publish are ok, but when I test it from "index.htm" don't appear the navigation buttons.

ps: in ALL the attempt the "interface.swf" is in the same folder of "megazine.swf": "megazine" folder.

Well, I customized my interface.fla and for me was straightforward... just replaced the swf with mine and all OK.

We can do something... send me a mail (mine is at my profile) with your interface.swf (ZIP it to avoid antivirus problems) and I'll tell you if it works or not.

I'm having the same problem. Tried to create a new interface.swf and also my navigation buttons disappear and zoom is not working anymore. My new swf is much smaller than the original one.

By the way, I have read that there will be e nwe version upcoming with more features in the xml file. Wil this be one of the features (removing the zoom icon). Ifso I wait for the new one.

kind regards Peter
