Display problem with opera browser and under linux
« on: July 09, 2009, 06:24:51 am »
Hi,

I used this perfect megazine tool. After some research I can use it (changed in php) with IE browser. But if I use it with the porteble Opera (search this browser on the portableapps website) the megazine is cut in two and only the top is displayed (the bottom is not visible) but the page can be turned.

Another bad news is the fact this code I used is not displayed on opera or konqueror in linux OS (SLAX distribution).

Can you please solve this.

Thanks and have a nice day,

Miguipda ;-)

Hi,

first one sounds like a weird issue, will have a look into it.

As for the second, I'll have to set a virtual machine first to test that, which I won't have the time to do in the next weeks, but I promise I'll do so eventually ;)

Regards,
Florian

Hi,

I am having this problem aswel!

Problem is it also seems to happening with IE8! The files work fine on IE7 and Safari but not on Opera or IE8. I was hoping to use this for a client.

I cant get them working on Firefox either which is a problem too!

Any ideas would be very much appreciated!

Look fantastic is Safari!!

Allright, had a look into all this, and I'm pretty sure I can't do anything about that at all. Anyway:
  • Portable Opera, don't know portableapps, but the one from opera-usb.com works just fine
  • Linux + Opera, I have an Ubuntu running here, but after wasting half an hour I couldn't get Opera to display any Flash at all... use Firefox (note: I do use Opera myself, but under Windows).
  • IE8, works fine for me... maybe update you Flash Player?
