Version 1.37 and 1.38 - Corner hint CPU usage
« on: July 25, 2009, 12:36:28 pm »
Hi Florian,

Here's another bug ;)

When using the new attribute cornerhint as true, it became very beautiful, but the corner animation consumes from 60% till 75% of CPU machine(browser process). When you turn the page and the animation stops, the cpu stay fine.

Hiya,

well, yes. It only reaches 20%-30% for me, but that might be because I have a stronger box :P
Thing is, that's about the same I get when turning pages, thus that's perfectly normal and to
be expected (because basically it is a page drag, just an automatic one).

Could you check what load you get when flipping or dragging pages? If that's noticeable lower
then something is weird indeed. But I have no idea what might be...
For the Snark was a Boojum, you see.

U're right, it's the same cpu usage when we turn the page..I'll disable this feature for the time being .I' ll test it in another machine.
thanks
