High CPU-Usage during Pageflip
« on: September 03, 2009, 04:15:15 PM »
I've a problem, i want to use megazine with our PDF-Catalog, so i convert it with pdf2swf and add it to megazine, but the problem is, on my workstation (AMD 64 Dual 2.xx ghz) it is slow, on other computers its unusable slow.

i try both versions (1.3.8 and 2.0 beta) and they are both that slow, as you can see here: http://onkelolf.de/test/megazine-beta/ & http://onkelolf.de/test/megazine/

The Source-PDF is about 200kb for each Page, the sfws are at the same size.

In version 1.38 there was a rename from "static" to "rasterize" (takes care about buffering of the pages).

So please try to exchange in your xml "static" with "rasterize".
The "pages" element most probably will not work correctly in 1.38

For version 2.0 please download the new pdf2megazine.bat script from the svn area:
http://svn.mightypirates.de/megazine/trunk/tools/pdf2megazine.bat
Tis script should support the "pages" element for v2.0 (but does not work with 1.38)

I got this trouble too.
I was using 1.38, then I started testing 2.0 and I got everything so slow I couldn't work. It's not a pdf, I'm working with jpegs. Any idea?
