Solved: Trying to make a stripped down version - now visual glitches - need help

Hey guys,
I currently try to create a stripped down version of the script as I don't need any GUI or user interaction. All I want is to have a pageflip script with slideshow option that is small in size. So I started removing parts from v 1.38 and I'm now at 34k wich is in my eyes still to much for that simple task.

Anyway - I currently don't see the highlight effect on pageflips, as well as I don't see the slight shadow in the fold, and I don't know why. I haven't touched that part in any way and it's beeing processed - but not shown. All I see is the shadow of a flipping page.

All I did that far is to remove anything related to the GUI, localization, mouse-interaction (also dragging), sounds and all page elements except of images.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot for your help.

Did you try V2.0? It should be much easier to strip it down, because you simply don't load any plugin.
Would be interesting to know how V2.0 behaves compared to V1.38!

yeah, I had a look at v2 (trunk) which looked much better to me - but after compiling I didn't see any pages or anything else - so I instantly switched to 1.38. But if you can give me some tipps how to get started with v2 I'll give it a try - although I already spent hours and hours in stripping 1.38 now.

I have the same problem with pages not showing up win v2.0
I compiled megazine with CS4, could that have anything to do with it?

Are you sure you checked out the complete trunk or tag? You need all the sources to compile. Admittedly, I forgot to check again with the final release if it compiles in the IDE, will do that when I get home... are there any compiler warnings or errors?
