A new license type was introduced for v2.1:

MegaZine3 version 2.x can be freely downloaded, and even the source code is available for everybody.
Personal and non commercial use is totally free. There are no restrictions in functionality or time to use; or differences between the free version and the comemrcial version.
So you can test everything (!) before you start using MegaZine3 commercially and have to pay for a license.

GPL Version (v1.38)The "old" version 1.38 remains what it was: a powerful framework that can be used free of any charges, also for commercial purposes.
And if you follow the GPL license terms (e.g. give open access to everybody to your sources and document the changes), you can use the sources and make changes.
We even might fix bugs, if those are found to be significant and important to fix.
Great books had been developed with MegaZine3 v1.38. Some are available in our
list of customer examples.One of our favorites is this one:
IWC Catalogue, realized by Futurecom.chSo even with the free version you can achieve nice books. For free commercial use.
And you can "upgrade" to version 2 when there is a need for additional functionality which is missing in version 1.38.
Like search, embedded links, zoom, easy GUI configuration, plug-ins....
