antialiasing filter
« on: November 19, 2009, 10:22:13 am »
you have included the aa="true" as an option for filtering images affected by aliasing when zoomed out from actual page size...for those that don't know, it's those zig-zag thingy lines on JPG photos that are meant to be straight diagonal lines.
Any chance of improving this beyond the current one?
Works really well (excellent) for JPG images that have a font text saved on them but does not work well for larger images like telegraph wire.
Obviously viewing images at actual pixel size does not have that aliasing issue.

This attribute just enables Flash's internal anti aliasing/smoothing (see http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRefV3/flash/display/Bitmap.html#smoothing), so I don't have any influence over how it actually works.
