Update: The below is still valid, but here comes a slight change of plan. As of now, if you wish to contribute or maintain a translation please send me a private message so that I can add you to the
Translators member group. After that you will have posting privileges in both the Translations and Tutorials sections.
To keep this section as clean as possible, here are some rules I'd like everybody to stick to.
Posts which do not respect these rules can and will be deleted without further warning.
- Please do not spam threads with "thank you"s. The threads here are meant to maintain translations, and posts should only be made to update or contribute to a translation.
- When creating a new translation, please stick to the naming conventions, for the thread ([tag] Full original language name) as well as the language id itself. In most cases the ISO 639-1 standard should be sufficient. If this does not suffice please refer to the IETF tagging format.
- Keep the encoding ANSI or, if special characters are needed, UTF-8 without byte order mark, as Flash does not like that. If you use Notepad++ you can easily find out the current encoding used by checking the "Format" menu entry.
Note: if you create a new translation, an appropriate flag for the navigation will most likely not be present. Drop me a line to make sure I add it.
A note on tutorial translation: When translating a tutorial, please try to stick to the formatting of the original formats as close possible, to keep a consistent look, thank you!
