MegaZine3 DL file not named correctly?
« on: December 08, 2009, 11:57:41 pm »
The file that is downloaded is named (minus the quotes) "mz3v2.0.3b 2.7z".  Something must be wrong with the name, eh?  I can't figure out what the file type is.

Thank you,
Tim

Not a typo, it's a 7z file (see http://www.7-zip.org/7z.html).
If you don't have an archiving program capable of opening it, get 7-Zip now: http://www.7-zip.org/

I've added the note to the download page, too, to avoid confusion of other future users.

Thanks for the clarification.

Regrettably, this compression format appears to only be Windows compatible.  Can you provide a compressed file format that is more multi-platform, so that I can use this code on my Mac?

Thanks.
Tim

See http://www.7-zip.org/download.html at the bottom.

There are packages for pretty much every platform available ;)
