Downloading MegaZine3

A download link for the MegaZine3 core software can be found on the Download page. The name of the file starts with "mz3v" followed by the actual version number. In the example onthe right the file to be downloaded is called mz3v2.1.1.zip.

The other files in the "Newest released version box" that are offered for download are Windows and OSx specific versions bzndled together with a Flash Player version, so a title can be viewed locally on a PC without browser and/or internet access. How to build an "offline" version that can be started from e.g. a CD on a Windows or MAC computer, will be explained in a later tutorial.

Download the last file in the box, which is the complete software package containing the Online and Offline versions,  and extract everything into a new folder. You freely can select the location and name of that file. Our suggestion for this tutorial is to creage a folder named "my_megazines" on your desktop. Also later we'll show how to create a set of folders that helps managing several titles sharing one MegaZine3 software. For now the unzipped folders are sufficient to explain the principles of MegaZine3.
