Net prices are only presented to business customers. You can apply to become a business customer once you registered as user. German business customers have to pay VAT, which is shown as separate line item.
As registered user you can apply for an MZ3-EDU license, after providing more contact details (under the tab "My Account").
A registration as buiness customer or school/university can be done after a successful registration as user on the page "My Account".

Registration as new User
After you submitted the requested data, you'll receive an email with a link to confirm your registration. With that confirmation you also agree to accept an email from us with important information like license/price changes, availability of new major versions. After your confirmation you can login.
